Egg donation abroad has been commonplace in Europe for many years and is now gaining popularity in North America.
In countries like the United States, the average cost with mandated escrow accounts, legal contracts, donor agency fees, medication, and local clinic fees is now $35,000. The cost of egg donation with us can save you as much as 70%. This is largely due to the difference in buying power of different currencies like the U.S. dollar which is much stronger than some other currencies.
You can begin preparation at your home clinic to reduce time away or even ship semen in advance, and the female partner can just go for implantation. This may also be the best course of action if genetic screening is preferred as lab results can take time
In countries like Canada, local legislation either completely outlaws commercial donation or limits certain treatments. Both situations lead many to look for affordable egg donation abroad.
